Site Migration

I built a site on a spare domain to test. Yesterday it came time to migrate the site to its proper home. I prepared myself fully – read your blog entry on migration, made sure I had phpmyadmin access and satisfied myself that I knew what I was doing.

I also used another plugin to help with the migration, “All-in-One WP Migration”

I was pleasantly surprised when I realised that the migration plugin had dealt with everything including the database tables. The procedure was simple; export the entire setup to a file, then upload that file using the plugin on the new installation.

The only thing left to say is Thank You for such a good piece of useful software
