site map errors

    Hi,

    I’m getting site map errors with Version: 3.0b1

    I added these files to my plug-ins directory and chmoded them to 777

    sitemap.xml.gz
    sitemap.xml
    sitemap.php

    ERRORS
    Could not write into /home/number/public_html/sitemap.xml: fopen(/home/number/public_html/sitemap.xml): failed to open stream: Permission denied
    Could not write into /home/number/public_html/sitemap.xml.gz: fopen(/home/v2004/public_html/sitemap.xml.gz): failed to open stream: Permission denied

    Please advise

    sitemap.xml.gz and sitemap.xml don’t go in your plugins directory. Try putting them in the root directory of your blog instead.
