site map error – help!

  • I had activated the plug-in BWP Google XML Sitemaps and it was working fine. Then, this morning, I checked it and had an error message when I clicked on it after typing in my url for the site map. Here’s what the error says:

    This page contains the following errors:
    error on line 2 at column 6: XML declaration allowed only at the start of the document
    Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error.

    I have no idea what this means, but I need to get my site map up and running again. Can you please help me?

    Thanks. I can’t include a link to the site map because I have deactivated it until I can get this fixed. But I did cut and paste exactly what it said, which can be read above. Thanks.
