Site main logo shrinks when plugin activated

    Hi there,
    I’ve just tried adding your plugin to a site and the main logo on the site shrinks to a really small size when your plugin is activated – when I deactivate it the logo returns to it’s normal size. Any ideas how to stop this from happening?

    Does your plugin introduce the following css by any chance?? When comparing and inspecting the site main logo before installing your plugin and after installing it the following CSS appears when the plugin is active – when I click to disable these two elements of CSS the logo returns to its normal size…

    height: auto;
    max-width: 100%;
    }

    I’ve had to leave your plugin disabled because of the issue so no point sending you a link.

  • Hi MissTT,
    There might be any CSS code overridden issue and it can be fixed easily by simply inspecting.

    The mentioned CSS code is very common. It can be called the reset CSS code for images and video. Maximum theme and plugin use these. As our plugin works with the logo, not the video; the source of the code might be from other. But it could be applied from our plugin too.

    Hi there,

    Many thanks for your quick response. I found the CSS I included by inspecting the website and comparing with, without the plugin. On checking again the CSS is coming from the following:

    /wp-content/plugins/logo-carousel-free/public/assets/css/style.css?ver=3.1.2

    I can’t activate your plugin again for any length of time with this issue I’m afraid. Hopefully the above information is all you need now? I can send you a screen shot privately if needed but I can’t put it publically on this forum.

    I would really like to use your plugin so if you could amend your CSS below to specifically refer to the images in the carousel rather than all images and videos that would be great…
