I was looking forwrd to checking out your plugin but seem to have a problem when I have chenged the setings adding my FB ID, the setting to work with pages and posts and the footer – when I click save it logs me out of my site and the settings do not seem to have been saved either for the plugin. Having the same problem on Firefox and Chrome. Please can you advise if this is a known issue? Thanks.

Certainly not a known issue as I have this running on many of my sites.

    Can I confirm:

    1. You are trying to add/modify a footer message?

    2. You have eliminated other plugins, by deactivating the rest and trying to update?
(I ask as some are badly coded but popular and can cause problems)

Thanks for coming back so quickly. I had gone into your plugin and added my FB ref, had highlighted I wanted to work with pages and posts and then added a footer message in the box provided – I did have a hyperlink in the footer.

When I went to save it logged me out of the site – I’ve not had a plugin do that before – and then when I log back in none of the settings are saved.

I have not tested by deactivating other plugins.

You need to deactivate all other plugins and then check whether the problem still occurs.

It is the only way to determine whether the cause of the problem is actually my plugin. Or another plugin causing the plugin with mine.

    Please let me know.

Resolving this for good order as it is likely an issue with another plugin. If this is actually with mine (need to disable all other plugins to check), then please revert (I will still monitor this thread) or open a new thread.
