Site logo’s transparent background turns white

    When I upload a logo image into the header section of TwentySeventeen the transparent background turns white. I have tried .png and .gif files and both suffer the same fate.

    My site is https://www.meadowridgeafc.co.za.

    Currently, the logo image is removed because of this.

    Any ideas how I can retain the transparent nature of my logo background upon upload?
