Site loading slow due to plugin

  • Hi,

    I’m having some trouble with the time it takes to first load the site when using the Easy Instagram plugin. I suspect the problem is it takes to plugin some time to look up the hashtag we are using. The problem is tho, that the site doesn’t load at all until this has been done. I would like the site to load everything else first and lastly load the plugin, is that possible?

    Everything works fine after the first cache but as soon as the cache timer is out, the same hickup occurs.

    Hello sunefication,

    Unfortunately the plug in is waiting for all information from Instagram before loading, and sometimes based on users accounts that can take a while. We are currently working on changing the way the scripts load. We hope to have an update shortly.

    I am having this same issue. I love this plugin. It works perfect other than the extreme slowness. It take more than 10 seconds to load each time.
