When I google my review on site (mobile version), it shows like this – https://ibb.co/nLpN74M
Ideally, it must show like this – https://ibb.co/zJFRW8d

i.e., It should be showing the site title instead of the domain like its showing in second screenshot. I am using Yoast SEO free plugin. Kindly help me to achieve and resolve the same. Thanks.

  • Hi @rudrachirag,

Recently Google has updated the search results for mobile, displaying the website name on top of the result. That information following Google’s guideline can be:

    • Website Structure data
    • Title tag
    • H1 elements
    • og:site_name

This info will be generated automatically by Google search; make sure that you have all the data provided to Yoast Plugin.

The structure data is the first information where Google looking for, I will recommend checking your site representation fields are completed in the general settings.

    Hey @rudrachirag,

As @fellyph said, this depends on Google and can be retrieved from multiple sources – I checked your front page in the Schema validator and I do see that you’ve set your organization settings and logo. There it shows “Gems of Bollywood” and not “Planet Bollywood” as you shared in your second screenshot. I’d advice you to choose either and stick with it as well.

    Hello @jeroenrotty,

Seems you got confused. My site is Gems Of Bollywood only and not Planet Bollywood. I have shared that as an example to show that it must show site name in title instead of domain name as its showing in our case.

Kindly see, if Plugin support can help as we are using it on all of our websites.

    Thanks.

Upon checking the page source of your homepage, I see.

    <title>Gems of Bollywood | Criticism and Review</title>

Now, doing a site specific search in Google, I see the same result here. Can you confirm?
