site language German (formal) results in English cookie policy

    Hello,

    according to your suggestion, I switched the site language on my WP site from German to German (formal) in order to get a formal German cookie policy. But instead, the cookie policy switched to English!

    When I set the site language to German, I get an informal German cookie policy.

    Can you help?

    Hi @dillhausen,

    It will default to English if you don’t have the required language files available for German (Formal). I would recommend setting the Site Language to German (Formal) once more and then checking for translation updates under Dashboard -> Updates -> “Update Translations”.
