Hi, I am one of the users who got the minified react error a few weeks ago when the Sitekit plugin suddenly stopped working. I waited for and installed the updated plugin but this hasn’t solved the problem for me.

Sitekit tells me that my site is not allowed access to my Google account. But when I try to redo the plugin setup, I get an Error: bad request, invalid parameter ‘site_id’.

Not sure what to do now. How do I solve this?

Thanks for reaching out @svgmg. The error you’re encountering now differs to the bug you unfortunately ran into previously. I suspect something may have either changed at Google Analytics or Search Console level, or something may have impacted your Site Kit connection overall.

What you can do in order to complete Site Kit set up, is to reset the plugin (Tools > Available Tools > Reset Site Kit). By?resetting, note that you will have to set up the plugin once more, and configure Google Analytics or any other modules that may have been previously set up.

Let me know if you have any questions with the above.

Glad to hear it @svgmg, and appreciate the update. Be sure to get in touch if you run into any issues, or if have any queries. Best of luck!

@neohero Did you perform a plugin reset? If not, please go ahead and do so. Note as mentioned above, that by resetting, you will need to connect all previously connected modules once more. Another other administrators who may have set up the plugin will also need to go through the same set up process once more. Feel free to open an individual support topic if you have any queries on this and we’d be happy to help.

Thank you @jamesosborne! Resetting Site Kit worked for me.

Glad to hear it @neohero. Thanks for the confirmation.

Note also that should this occur again somehow, disconnecting your Google account from Site Kit and connecting once more may allow you to complete setup, in particular for any permissions based issues if the original Google account used to connect Site Kit was changed. A reset isn’t required. Disconnecting is a more suitable alternative as the previously connected modules will remain intact.

Thanks again. Have a nice weekend.
