    Hi!

    I’m using site kit at differents sites, all hosted at siteground.

    One site, keeps sitekit logging me out randomly. The only diference is this site uses sucuri as web firewall.

    Hi @crashbit666,

    Thanks for getting in touch. If you’re being disconnected from Site Kit regularly what may be happening is your SALT Keys are modified. I do see there is an option within the Securi plugin for this, although I’ll need to check this and see if it’s an automatic setting that can be applied daily.

    While I’m doing so, can you please share the following:
    What is the error message you’re seeing when logged out (ie. You need to re-connect)?
    Has this just started to occur recently, with Site Kit remain connected previously? If so do you recall and security setting changes?

    I’ll let you know after I also check the Securi settings. I’ll also review your Site Health information which you shared.

    Thanks for your patience on this. I checked the Securi plugin and there is an option to update your secret keys automatically. As soon as I activated this I was logged out, and I had to re-do Site Kit set up, which is expected if a users keys were modified.

    Can you check whether you have this option enabled (Securi Security > Settings > Hardening > Activate Automatic Secret Keys Updater)?

    If you do, then due to the functionality of this, it’s normal that you’ll have to reconnect Site Kit each time.

    Note also that if you do have this setting enabled what you can do, to keep this setting enabled is use a filter we’ve added, which will ensure Site Kit will remain connected, even if your SALT Keys are modified.

    Let me know anyway, whether this feature is enabled. If so I’ll provide you with steps to apply the filter which should keep Site Kit connected.
