    Hi,
I’m trying to setup ads on my website with Adsense and Google Site Kit, using auto-ads.
In console I get: The resource was preloaded using link preload but not used within a few seconds from the window’s load event. Please make sure it has an appropriate as value and it is preloaded intentionally.

How should I fix it? What is blocking showing the ads right away?
    Thanks

Thanks for reaching out @zzmatuss. I checked your site and based on the wphb-add-delay and wphb-delay-type references it looks like some resources, including the Site Kit placed AdSense snippet is impacted by your Hummingbird plugin configuration. Can you check if the same occurs if you reset your Hummingbird configurations, while also sharing your Site Health information so I can confirm your AdSense site and account status?

Note that ads will not be served until your site is approved at AdSense level, so it’s possible that what you’re facing may be unrelated to the console error you’re facing. Once I can see your Site Health information I can advise on this further.

Let me know if you have any questions with the above.

Hi, thank you for quick reply.

I provided site health to the form. I’ll try also reseting the config on HB.
    Appreciate you help.

Thanks for the update @zzmatuss. From reviewing your Site Health information I can indeed see that your site is approved for ads.

Once you temporarily deactivate Hummingbird I’m happy to check your site once more. If ads do appear, or no console errors exists, it may simply be a case of adding an exception or reviewing your Hummingbird configurations.

Let me know if you have any question with the above.

Hi, I have reset the Humingbird and console errors stopped when no delay is set, but the ads are not shown, even when the adsense is approved. Can you take a look?
    Thanks

Thanks for the update @zzmatuss. From checking your site further I can see that the AdSense snippet is now appearing as expected, without modification. Regarding no ads appearing, this may be as a result of some CDN related configurations. I can see there is a Hummingbird related CDN in use for your site, possibly. Can you disable this temporarily and I’ll check your site once more?

Note also that I can see successful network requests made to AdSense servers, so we can perform some additional checks if the same occurs with your CDN disabled.

Let me know if you have any questions with the above.

I turned off the CDN. I tried also researching weather the Cloudflare settings may be in fault, but no luck. Can you take a look at network requests?

    Thanks, appreciate the help.

Thanks for the update @zzmatuss. Unfortunately I’m still seeing some browser console errors, not specific to Site Kit but possibly impacting ads being served. Not a problem however, we’ll perform some additional checks. To do so, please follow the steps below:

    1. Login to your live site from a Chrome browser incognito window.
    2. Install and activate the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin.
    3. Navigate to “Plugins > Health Check & Troubleshooting > Troubleshoot”.
    4. From the same screen click on the “Available Plugins” tab at the top right and then click on the “Enable” option next to “Site Kit by Google“.
    5. Ensure you have ads appearing for all users (Site Kit > Settings > AdSense > Exclude for Ads)
    6. Check your site once more, both for adverts and for any browser console errors.

Let me know how you get on with the above. If ads do appear, this indicates a possible plugin related conflict.

Hi. I tried. But no ads appeared after Troubleshooting. Can it be something with CookieYes – GTM tracking, that wont allow to show ads?

Thanks for the update @zzmatuss. It’s possible a privacy or cookie related feature is blocking ads, but if the same is occurring in troubleshooting mode, I suspect this isn’t the case. I can still see various browser console errors when inspecting your site, did you see such errors while in troubleshooting mode as per the steps above? Feel free to share a recording of what you see if you wish.

Another thing you may wish to check, is to visit adsense.google.com and check do you see ads using the ads preview tool.

I tried to preview ads, even inline display, instead of auto ads, but no help.
    Viewing the inspect, following happens.

    1. Some Permission Policy-headers (which I never had setup)
    2. Mixed content call unsecured (to developer.google.com)
    3. Some unrecognized feature and Violations.

Thanks for the update @zzmatuss. If you’re unable to preview ads within the AdSense ads preview tool this may indicate something, such as a security policy as you indicated, may be blocking ads. If you’d like to share a recording of what you see when performing the following, I’d be happy to check this further:

    1. Login to your live site from?a?Chrome browser incognito window once more.
    2. Ensure you have the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin active once more and navigate to “Plugins > Health Check & Troubleshooting > Troubleshoot”.
    3. From the same screen click on the “Available Plugins” tab at the top right and then click on the “Enable” option next to “Site Kit by Google“.
    4. Visit your site once more, at which point a core theme should be active for you only (as a logged in administrator).
    5. Check the AdSense real time preview tool once more.

You can use a service such as Loom to share a screen recording of the above, while using the same form previously used to share this privately.?

Note that we’re limited to Site Kit queries here on the plugin support forums, and I can see that Site Kit has placed the AdSense code snippet on your site as expected. What you’re facing I suspect is more AdSense and possibly a content security policy issue. We may need to direct you to the AdSense experts at the AdSense Help Center, but do let me know how you get on with the above first. Thank you!

As we didn’t receive a response I’ll mark this as resolved. Feel free to open a new support topic if you continue to encounter issues, or reopen this topic and we’d be happy to assist.
