Site Kit inserting inappropriate GTM tags

Even if “Tag Manager” is not linked, the snippet of Google Tag Manager will be inserted.

Therefore, if you have already manually installed snippets on your site, simply installing and activating “Site Kit by Google” will result in duplicate snippets.

After linking, if you uncheck “Install code on site” from the settings, snippets will not be inserted, but this means that GTM tags will always be installed on sites that do not use Tag Manager. Yes, it’s a problem.

I don’t need any help on my site, but I’ve reported it because it’s likely a bug.
