    Site Kit has already been configured by another admin of this site. To use Site Kit as well, sign in with your Google account which has access to Google services for this site (e.g. Google Analytics). Once you complete the 3 setup steps, you’ll see stats from all activated Google products.

    Everything was activated and I’m only one admin. Every week I have this message.

    I’m using “Disable XML-RPC-API” and “Sucuri Security – Auditing, Malware Scanner and Hardening” for site security.

    WP, all plugins are updated, PHP 7.4.21

    Site health is Perfect

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello @soroka95 ,

    Thanks for opening a support topic.

    This is unexpected as there is only one admin at your site while you are observing this error. For further investigation can you please share your Site Health information via form privately so we can look into this issue for you.

    Best Regards,

    Many thanks for sharing the additional information. As nothing obvious stands out from immediate inspection can you share the following information which may help determine the cause:

    1. Have you tried temporarily disabling the Disable XML-RPC-API and Security Plugin, or tried to reset both plugins to their default configurations?
    2. Do you see any browser console errors on the same screen whereby this notice appears each week?
    3. Has this always occurred, or just recently? If this has always occurred since your fist time Site Kit setup please confirm that it’s commonly 1 week before you see this message?

    Let me know if you have any questions with the above.

    I think it happens with weekly Automatic Secret Keys Updater (Sucuri Security option)

    Ah, that would make sense! Thanks for checking this, we’ll also apply this configuration on our side for testing purposes. Unfortunately due to the nature of this feature it’s expected that you’ll be asked to sign in once more if your constants are changed.

    Before closing this support topic I’ll also check with the team whether this is expected and are there changes planned.

    @soroka95 Many thanks for your patience on this. I’ve spoken with the team while after also testing the GOOGLESITEKIT_ENCRYPTION_SALT & GOOGLESITEKIT_ENCRYPTION_KEY methods of defining constants.

    You can use both in order to ensure your site remains connected while all other SALT key values remain the same.

    Providing you’re comfortable editing your wp-config.php file you can add the below values, replacing the *****constanthere****** values with your own.

    define('GOOGLESITEKIT_ENCRYPTION_SALT', '*****constanthere******');
    define('GOOGLESITEKIT_ENCRYPTION_KEY', '*****constanthere******');

    If you’re unsure on the above let me know and I’d be happy to assist. If you haven’t edited your wp-config file previously please note this can result in downtime for your site if not done correctly, so please perform a backup first, or seek technical assistance when doing so.

    Let me know how you get on with the above. Note that based on your query we may be adding some additional document to our website going forward for such cases.

    As we didn’t receive a response I’ll mark this as resolved. Feel free to open a new support topic if you continue to encounter issues, or reopen this topic and we’d be happy to assist.
