    Hi Team,

Today, while checking Site Kit statistics on my WP site, I noticed that I am receiving “Data Error Issues” on the “Search Funnel” and “Popularity” tab (check image for more reference).

    Here’s the image link – https://imgur.com/a/QluXSS1

Some pointers to help you guys:

    1) I verified my site well in advance on Search Console before setting up Site Kit on the site.

    2) I am the sole owner and administrator of my site.

    3) I went to “Settings >> General” and both my WordPress URL and Site URL are showing URLs starting from “https”

Can someone please assist me here?
Let me know if you need more information.

@jamesosborne – can you please help me out here?

I look forward to receiving a response.

    Hi Team,

Post submitting this issue here, I tried resetting the Site Kit plugin and once done, I reconnected all my accounts and voila, the plugin works perfectly.

So, would request the MODS of this support thread to please close/delete my post to avoid further comments.

P.S. – I would still request the developers to please check the plugin for any bugs.

    Thank you!

@transformers001 Thanks for getting in touch and providing context to this issue. While you’ve already managed to successfully resolve this issue did you make any changes from when the Search Console module was working to when you encountered the permissions issue?

Also apologies for the delay, support is provided during weekdays only.

    Hi @jamesosborne

I made zero changes. I was simply trying to take a look at my statistics via Site Kit plugin when I encountered the issue. It forced me to visit Analytics, AdSense sites separately and check my blog’s overall performance and at that instance too, I didn’t change any setting in particular.

Am glad, resetting the Site Kit plugin worked out for me. However, I would still request you and other devs to please take a look into it once and see what could have led to this error (for not just me) but others too.

    Thanks.

@transformers001 Certainly, we will spend time investigating this, many thanks for your input. May I also ask you did this same issue occur on any other sites also, if you have Site Kit setup on other sites?

    Hi @jamesosborne

No, as of now I only have one site running. But, I had plans to install Site Kit on my upcoming site too (about to go live next month).

So, the early this bug gets resolved and a fix is created, the better it will be for me and other users.

Knowing you, am sure you will figure out a solution soon. Just keep us updated and let us know if you need anything from our end that could help you escalate the process.

    Stay safe.

    Cheers,
    Manu Mathur
