I had someone manually (I believe) insert tracking codes into each page?? I believe they installed the Monster Analytics. However, I don’t believe they are working, so I decided to install Google Site Kit. Upon activating it I received this message:

“Error: We’ve detected there’s already an existing Analytics tag on your site (ID UA-106821919-1), but your account doesn’t seem to have access to this Analytics property. You can either remove the existing tag and connect to a different account, or request access to this property from your team.”

This is now just too far over my head. Is someone able to assist and remove whatever is creating the problems?? I would be SO grateful and thank you in advance. I will provide login information as required

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Thanks for getting in touch. In order to find the additional Analytics snippets which you wish to remove (the one not placed via Site Kit) have you checked the following:

    • Your theme configuration options?
    • Your theme files, in particular header.php and footer.php?
    • Google Tag Manager?
    • Other third party plugins with Analytics integration?

If you’ve already checked the above, or if you’re unsure on the above please share your Site Health information privately using this form we may be able to help determine the source of the additional snippet, which could also have been placed using a child theme.

As we haven’t received a response, I’ll mark this as resolved. Feel free to open a new support topic if you continue to encounter issues, or reopen this topic and we’d be happy to assist.
