    WordPress shows an error:

    Error connecting Site Kit

Looks like your site is not allowed access to Google account data and can’t display stats in the dashboard.

When I click the “Redo the plugin setup” button (which is the only option offered), Google displays

    Error: Bad Request

    invalid parameter: ‘site_id’

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Thanks for reaching out?@hazlebury. If you’ve already tried the “Redo plugin setup” button, with the same occurring, please perform a plugin reset and share whether you’re then able to proceed with setup?(Tools > Available Tools > Reset Site Kit).

Note that by resetting, you will need to connect all previously connected modules once more.

What I suspect happened in your case, rather than being a plugin related change, was something at Google service, web host or network level impacted your site credentials when communicating with the Site Kit service. By resetting you’ll reset those credentials.

Let me know if you have any questions with the above. We also have a guide on the plugin website in relation to this error which contains more details of this.
