Site Kit (Error: Bad Request)

Thanks for getting in touch, and sorry to hear you’ve been running into problems setting up the plugin. So we can determine more and ensure you can successfully complete set up please share the following:

1. Your Site Health information. You can use this form to share privately if preferred.
2. When attempting Site Kit set up from a Chrome browser incognito window, do you see any browser console errors on the same screen where this notice appears? If so please share any such errors.

Once we know of the above we can provide some suitable troubleshooting suggestions, which may include ruling out any third party plugins (via the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin) or checking for any hosting configurations which may be blocking Site Kit set up. Let me know if you have any questions with the above.

I’m following up with you here to check whether you’re still encountering the same experience? If so you may wish to check does the same occur from a Chrome browser incognito window. I mention this as other users reported the same, when using the Brave browser, which blocks AMP URLs by default, or browser extensions that perform the same action.
