site kit encountered error

2. When checking the Site Kit dashboard from a Chrome browser incognito window does the same occur? If so, please share any browser console errors that appear.?
3. Does this occur on the Site Kit dashboard, the main WordPress dashboard (via the Site Kit widget) or on the front end of your site when using the Site Kit admin toolbar?

I uninstalled and reinstalled site kit, I did not get previous error however now this is what I got: It says Site kit has already been configured by another admin of this site. I am the only admin user.

Based on the above, in particular the google_api_connection_fail error, there may be an issue with your WordPress REST API, or your site can’t communicate with Google services. To try and resolve this, please share the following:

1. Did you following the steps in this guide, by installing and activating the mini plugin before attempting Site Kit set up once more? If not, please go ahead and do so. This can be useful to connect with Site Kit over a particular protocol should you be impacted by a known IPv6 related block. I don’t see the mini plugin active on your site, so do let me know.
2. Given your seeing a message related to another user, and you are the only connected user I can see from your Site Health information, can you share whether you encounter any errors after resetting Site Kit and connected once more? If the same occurs after resetting, please share whether you see any warnings or errors when checking your Site Health status? (Tools > Site Health > Status), which differs from your Site Health information requested above? Such errors may include REST endpoint references.

I also notice a couple of plugins active that could, with particular configuration, impact Site Kit set up. Depending on your updates from the above, we can perform some checks related to possible plugin conflicts.

Thank you! Downloading the mini plug-in seemed to fix the issue. I do notice on my google adsense account that under Ads.text status it says not found?

Note that if you did already add an ads.txt file to your site, it may take some time for the AdSense team to check this ads.txt file and update your status. It’s possible you already do have a valid ads.txt file placed.

If you are having trouble setting up your ads.txt file, you can use a plugin such as?ads.txt manager.
