    Hi @educatingpoint,

Thanks for reaching out. So we can determine more on this, please share the following:

    1. Your Site Health information. You can use this form to share privately if preferred.
    2. When checking the Site Kit dashboard from a Chrome browser incognito window do you see any browser console errors on the same screen where this errorappears?
    3. Was Site Kit working for you previously without any errors? If so please share whether you make any changes to your site, such as plugin updates or optimization plugin configurations.

Once we have the information above we can provide some troubleshooting suggestions. This may include ruling out third party plugin conflicts using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin.

Let me know if you have any questions with the above.

    1. I have sent the google details..
2.No, I only see “Site Kit encountered an error”
3.Yes, at first site kit working properly for 2-3 days after installation of the plugin but from last satarday i.e., 15th October,2022;this type of error showing on the “Sitemap”portion of the WordPress !!!

Many thanks for sharing these additional insights @educatingpoint. From reviewing your WordPress environment I can see some plugins that may use the Google Charts library, similar to Site Kit. With that please follow the steps below and share whether the dashboard error remains:

    1. Login to your site from a Chrome browser incognito window
    2. Install and activate the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin.
    3. Navigate to “Plugins > Health Check & Troubleshooting > Troubleshoot”.
    4. From the same screen click on the “Available Plugins” tab at the top right and then click on the “Enable” option next to “Site Kit by Google”
    5. Attempt to view the Site Kit dashboard once

If the error remains after following the steps above, please share any browser console errors that appear.

Let me know if you have any questions with the above.

Many thanks for checking. I’m going to set up an environment similar to you own to try and test this, while also discussing your case with the team today.

In the meantime if you wish to troubleshoot this further please perform a plugin reset. Note that by resetting you will need to set up Site Kit once more, and connect the previously connected modules.

I’ll let you know if I can determine anything with an environment set up similar to your own.

Many thanks for your patience on this. Based on the useful information you provided I’ve discussed this with the team and I’ve been able to recreate this error on a test site. With that I’ve created the following GitHub issue:
    https://github.com/google/site-kit-wp/issues/6021

As this requires further investigation I don’t have an immediate workaround at present. I will hopefully have more insights as I work on this, with details added today or tomorrow within the GitHub issue above. It does seem like a plugin conflict at this stage, and I’m sure why this didn’t reflect in the Health Check & Troubleshooting steps above. It’s also strange that no browser console errors appeared in your case, hopefully however, we can determine the cause with a little more research.

I’ll keep you informed here as soon as I have an update. Thanks again for reporting!

Hello sir, all of the previous steps that you suggested to me still do not resolve the issue. So, is it possible to solve it through a remote-based method?

    (@jamesosborne)

    Hi @educatingpoint,

This requires further investigation on our side. We’ve been able to recreate this based on the information you provided, so we just have to narrow down the cause. It’s likely a third party plugin conflict, so I will keep you updated here. I’ll hopefully determine the cause tomorrow, at which point I may be able to provide a workaround or solution.

    Hi @educatingpoint,

Can you temporarily deactivate the Like dislike counter plugin and share whether you encounter the same error?

    Thread Starter educatingpoint

    (@educatingpoint)

Now, it is not showing the error that I had seen before. I delete that like and dislike plugin. And one question is sir, May I delete the “Trabouleshoot Plugin? Is it required now?

    (@jamesosborne)

Thanks for confirming. We’ll investigate this further with updates added to the related GitHub issue. Hopefully you can use both plugins with a conflict after any conflict is confirmed and actioned.

And one question is sir, May I delete the “Trabouleshoot Plugin? Is it required now?

Yes. You no longer need this plugin installed. Thank you!

Hi sir, Now i am facing this “Error: The response is not a valid JSON response” in the site kit “Visitors Experience” Part…, so, how to rectify it???

    (@jamesosborne)

    Hi @educatingpoint,

While you’re encountering this error within the Site Kit PageSpeed Insights module this is a generic WordPress error that can appear elsewhere. It’s usually related to a REST API issue. If you’d like to open a separate WordPress support topic, specific to this error, we’d be happy to look into this further. Thank you!
