    Hi –

I connected to site kit, then had to make some changes to my site and deactivated the plugin. I just got it again and connected GA, but I think Site Kit has now created two different GA numbers for my site. How do I fix this?

    Thanks!

Hi @boogiethepug thanks for getting in touch. Currently it doesn’t look like you have the Analytics module connected in your Site Kit. When trying to connect Analytics can you see multiple properties available when prompted to select one?

You can also check your Analytics properties by going to your Analytics account > Admin > Select account for your site and check the available properties for that site.

If you have more properties than you need and you wish to delete a property then you can follow this guide to do that.

When connecting your Analytics module in Site Kit you can choose to either use an existing property from the dropdown menu or you can choose to create a new one.

Hope this helps to answer you question but if you have any further issues or questions please let me know.

Hi – thank you. I had two properties and managed to delete one. My Site Kit says I am connected to Google Analytics – is that incorrect? It is showing me metrics and everything.

Hi @boogiethepug thanks for the update and glad to hear that you are now connected and seeing your metrics. This all looks correct to me now and I can see that Site kit is placing your Analytics snippet successfully.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

    Hi I have similar issue.
    After installing Site Kit plugin.
It created (I think so) new Analytics property of GA4 (please forgive me I am not that good in naming account, property, view). But I do use Google Tag Manager and I have me Google UA in it. So there are to analytics tags on my site: One directly in the code another one in Google Tag Manager (which code is also in site code).
Tag assistant addons for chrome shows 4 tags on my this page
    https://kudretmakine.com/
and 2 tags on this page
    https://kudretmakine.com/ru/
Actually I don’t even know is it good or bad when there are different number of tags on different pages of my site and when it is 4 tags (I think it is too much) on one page, but I feel that something is wrong. Please help
