Site kit code and Adsense code do not match

Thanks for the update. I’ve checked your details provided and all looks good with your setup. I can see your AdSense account status remains at pending, so you should hear back from the AdSense team soon.

From inspecting your source code I noticed the header code script on your site, which is all that’s required for AdSense to start rendering ads. As I don’t see the usual Site Kit placed additional code you can try clearing your cache via your active caching plugin. Eitherway that shouldn’t make a difference when it comes to AdSense account or site approval.

I can check back with you next week if you’d like, which by then you’ll hopefully have a response from AdSense.

I have been applying for months now and I keep being rejected due to COVID-19. So, I was wondering if maybe the fact that they can’t even find the code on my site makes them automatically reject my application.

When I check for the code in Google Adsense it says that even if I choose to continue without checking the code, they will need to find it there in order to activate my account. Therefore, I wanted to make sure it was working well before applying again.

I cleared my cache both before deactivating Adsense in Google Site Kit and after activating it again but I still can’t find the code. I have observed that what Site Kit adds inside the head tags is the following code :

Which contains “client=ca-pub-3508751554321396”, but not the entire code.
Is there anything else I could do to try to make it work?

As long as you have the header code snippet on your site (adsbygoogle.js) ads can be served, you’ll find out more here. This code snippet does already appear on your site, placed via Site Kit.

The code snippet you mentioned, the iframe ad code isn’t placed via Site Kit. It looks like ad code, possibly inserted using theme configurations.

I’f you like to temporarily deactivate your caching plugin and share your Site Health information once more I can see if the additional Site Kit tag appears, although it shouldn’t make a different when it comes to AdSense approval.
