I was trying to look at the analytics for a product page and got this error message from site kit:

“It looks like the URL https://www.lagun.com/at-1660-g-tw-cnc-gear-head-lathe/ is not part of this site or is not based on standard WordPress content types, therefore there is no data available to display.”

This page is using out single product page template. And after doing a check I am getting this message for most of our product pages. Any insight into why this is happening?

I also want to note that I do not have a translation pluggin.

@aliciad7 Thanks for getting in touch. Can you tell me what plugin you are using for your products?

For some context, this message can appear when trying to view Detailed Page Stats within Site Kit for a URL that does not follow the WordPress-specific URL structure. In addition to translated page, these can also include URLs that are:

    • From plugins that use query vars for routing without registering them in WordPress
    • Modified by a plugin that alters homepage behavior, such as Thrive Architect

Because of the unique path and parameters of these URLs, Site Kit is not able to identify them appropriately as WordPress URLs and therefore cannot display Detailed Page Stats (which includes data from Search Console, Analytics, and PageSpeed Insights) within the Site Kit Dashboard. However, this data could still be available to view for these URLs in your Google account dashboards for Analytics and Search Console.

Thank you for your speedy reply Bethany! I am using a pluggin that effects our URL’s, so that definitely explains it. And I was able to successfully obtain the info I was looking for using the tip you gave. Happy holidays!

Very welcome and happy holidays to you, as well!
