Hi @youngsubkang thanks for getting in touch. If you wish to disable auto-updates for Site Kit then you can do this by going to Plugins > Installed plugins and selecting the clicking on Disable auto-updates for Site Kit.

We would always recommend that you update your Site Kit to the latest version as if you chose not to you may be missing out on new features and other functionality may not work as expected.

I hope this helps to answer your question. Is there anything else I can help you with?

    Hi @adamdunnage ,

The problem is that even though auto update is already turned off, the plugin updates automatically whenever a new plugin update is made available.

It also automatically resets the setting to “auto-update” when it is updated.

Instead of it happening automatically without our knowledge beforehand, we should be allowed to actively initiate the plugin update.

I’m hoping you could assist with it.

    Regards,

    Aman

@amanpreetmangat Site Kit should not auto-update for you if you are updating a different plugin and you have auto-updates disabled. If this is the case then I would suggest checking this at the fixing WordPress forum where you should be able to get some extra insights here into why this might be happening.
