    Hi,
Like several others when initially launching Site Kit by Google plugin it stalls at the “checking compatibility” stage.

    I have tried:
    – Deactivating/reactivating the plugin.
    – changing settings to http then back to https using an incognito browser window

Website is https://mru2025.org (still under construction but live pages available).
The website is indeed serving https and http contents as I have set the website to https after initial development. However, it did not work even after setting back to http

Thanks to advise if it’s due to the mixed contents despite the fact that it did not work even after setting to http and if yes, the best practice to have all served from https.

    thanks in advance
    Bernard

@mru2025 Can you share your Site Health information and we can investigate this further. You can use this form to share privately if you prefer.

I noticed also from checking your side I see you don’t have a redirection in place for http traffic, with a fully secure site like you have it might be worthwhile to redirect all traffic.

James, I just tried again and it worked. It is definitely linked to a mixed http/https contents as the developer just transferred all contents under https.

Thanks also for your word about redirection which I guess is to be done at .htaccess level. I have not yet set the G Console and will do this there too.

    Issue is thus solved.

    Thanks

@mru2025 Excellent, great to hear it. Thanks for the update.

Be sure to leave the plugin a review once you get to connect the modules and test the various dashboards.
