Site Kit and GA4 Not seeing page views

    I had ga4 set up all fine on my site when i applied for Media vine a few days ago. They needed me to set up a property for their timezone which i did ( i think) and now my Ga4 is not workign at all.

    i have the correct property id and measurement id in google site kit but no traffic is comign through at all in GA4 or Site kit.

    tried reinstallign the plugin and data but nothign works

    any help at all is so gratefully received!

    I have tried so much and am pretty exhausted.

    Hello @mfordy thanks for getting in touch. When checking your website I don’t see the Site Kit plugin installed. Were you previously using Site Kit before removing the plugin from your site?

    We are limited to support for the Site Kit plugin here so if you are not using the plugin and require assistance with your Analytics, you can get more help from the Analytics Help Center.

    @mfordy Just to let you know that we identified an issue where if consent mode was turned on, it was being applied for all users regardless of location. We’ve now addressed this with the latest version of Site Kit, version 1.123.1. When enabled, this will only default to consent required specifically for EEA countries and the United Kingdom. 

    As this may have been impacting your Google Analytics traffic, please update to this latest version. Please also configure your preferred consent type plugin if you do decide to use consent mode.
