Thanks for getting in touch. The additional query vars you’re encounter are for cross-domain measurement which you can find out more about below:
    https://developers.google.com/gtagjs/devguide/linker

While not an expert on the subject I believe you’re encountering these as your using AMP on some of your URLs. With these URLs also eligible to be served from AMP cache it’s normal to encounter these addition parameters to ensure all Analytics traffic is measured for all related URLs and sources of your traffic. This isn’t a feature or a part of the Site Kit plugin specifically and the product experts at the Analytics Help Center should be able to provide a better explanation that I can here.

In relation to the performance impact I don’t encounter this on any of the sites I tested using AMP with Site Kits Analytics snippet inserted. While likely not Site Kit related if you’d like to share your Site Health information using this form I’d be happy to investigate this further for you. After sharing please temporarily deactivate Site Kit and I can check the same links.

Thanks for sharing. There does seem to be a difference in the related posts now. Before reactivating Site Kit can you try and implement Analytics via the AMP plugin?

I can check your site once more once this is activated, please inform me once done. You’ll need to use googleanalytics as the type.

Done. Implemented Analytics via the AMP plugin.

Have a general question – (Amp plugin analytics not able to track Google cached Amp URLS…..is it right | Mobile Traffic)

OK great, the links seem to loading as normal with no delay. I since noticed also we have a GitHub issue open in relation to the gtag domain linker, so you can keep watch of the below:

Have a general question – (Amp plugin analytics not able to track Google cached Amp URLS…..is it right | Mobile Traffic)

When you add the Analytics code to your site any visits to your site served via AMP cache are counted in your Analytics tracking. The user identification section on this page explains how it works. There is also a section on this help center article that describes how to setup a dedicated report for traffic between AMP and non AMP if you want more in dept tracking.

Great!! until i am using Amp analytic.

No problem. Just be mindful that your homepage – which is not AMP at present doesn’t have any Analytics snippet. I’ll try and test out the same experience from my side also.

Thanks for your patience on this. I finally got around to performing some testing on this and after various tested (example) I’m unable to notice any difference in the Site Kit placed snippet.

Feel free to keep watch of the referenced GitHub issue below in relation to Analytics on AMP URLs via the plugin:
