    `Hi,

after a few months of testing to understand the domain feedback, we decided to implement the AMP format. Since the early days we have been using Site Kit to automatically optimize our revenue and have had a great performance. Now with the activation of the AMP format (happened 24 hours ago) there are still no banners in these urls and obviously despite the many page views we can not get a valid performance. Should we just wait or is it necessary to set certain values through Adsense?

    Thanks

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi there @chandlerbing1985,

If you’ve only activated AMP in the past 24 hours it can take some time for ads to initially appear. I’ve checked your site and I can confirm that there is the correct Auto ads for AMP code placed on your site. With that it’s just a matter of waiting and unfortunately it’s not uncommon to take a few days before ads initially appear.

I can keep this support topic open while checking in with you next week if you wish, to confirm ads are inserted as expected.

Thank you so much for the quick response. At this point I ask you if it is the case to deactivate amp in these days (there are quite a few trending topics that are doing great but we get very little income) and maybe do this step in a less prolific period or just be patient and wait with the hope of recovering what was lost in these hours.

I understand, it can be frustrating waiting, in particular if loosing ad revenue. What you could do it limit AMP to particular content types or templates. After doing so wait a few days before you do see AMP ads starting to appear. At this point you can then compare ad performance and increase AMP coverage.

Alternatively you could place single ad units on your AMP URLS, rather than waiting for Auto ads to appear. Plugins such as Advanced Ads or Ad Inserter can be used to insert single ad units.

The AdSense Help Center should be able to assist further when it comes to ad performance. Let me know if you have any further queries on this.

ok perfect, at this time I activated it only for pages and not for posts so as to have a minimum of performance while waiting for the arrival of AMP banners. Thanks for the advice.

No problem at all, happy to assist. Good idea also limiting coverage to pages while awaiting Auto ads for AMP to initially render.

I’ll check back with you next week also to confirm all is working as expected.
