Site is not working after automatic update to wordpress 3.8.3

    Hello-
    I am unable to access my site “creatingellen.com”. I was able to access it yesterday. Every time I try on Google chrome and on internet explorer it just says “oops! Google chrome could not connect to creatingellen.com”. I just checked my email, and WordPress did send me an email yesterday saying this:
    “Howdy! Your site at https://creatingellen.com has been updated automatically to WordPress 3.8.3.

    No further action is needed on your part. For more on version 3.8.3, see the About WordPress screen:

    So, I am wondering if this has something to do with why my site isn’t working? How do I fix this? Thanks.

  • Hi Ellen,

    I was able to access your site and login form just fine. Have you tried clearing your browser cache? Are you able to see the site at all?

    I’m using Chrome on Windows 7 and I see the same error message when trying to load your site. However, it loads fine using Firefox 28 on Windows 7 even though it’s occasionally loading very slowly.
