Site is loading slowly, if this theme is used

    Multiple users are complaining that after the switch, site has become really slow. Problem is, I can confirm this if using webdeveloper tools to measure how fast page loads.
    I only use the most basic plugins (latest posts, most read, archive)

    Slider can be slow if that is in use. But other than that it’s as fast as a shark.

    I take it back. ??
    I think the problem in not the theme but this server.
    I tested it in another server (same plugins etc) and it had no problems.
    It actually loaded faster than some themes that look way more “plain”
