    Hi,

I made sure to backup my hosting with Go daddy before trying to update to the new Woocommerce 2.2 but when I did it this message appeared and now my site is completely down and I can’t login to the admin…..

Fatal error: Call to a member function get_settings() on a non-object in /home/content/60/11740360/html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/class-wc-install.php on line 291

I tried restoring the site but it still won’t work.

Please get back to me soon! Thanks.

@neto44 your issue is not releated with the WooCommerce.
Please, open a support thread in the WP Online Store plugin forum!

    Hi there,

zwo days ago i updated WC to 2.2.8 on martinez-gitarren.de

Since all updates in the past went like a charm, i was not bothered that much anything could go wrong. but it did: with WC active, frontend is blank, whereas backend is still working properly. I tried anything from disabling all plugins and enabling them one by one (via WP dashboard and via FTP / moving plugins one by one or all to custom plugins-off dir). As soon as I enable WC, frontend goes blank, regardless of any other plugin enabled or not.

Any help is highly appreciated, thanks
    Sebastian

Figured it out! WordPress strikes again by mis-naming a jquery library.

If you change jquery.cookie.min.js to jquery_cookie.min.js this should fix.

If you run inspect element/console on your page and it fails to load any

libraries or scripts, then investigate those as well

    Hi,

i accidentally upgraded woocommerce to 2.2. without backing up. I was reading i had to back up but i already clicked my mouse-button. Now i can’t acces the back-end of my wordpress site.

    i use one.com hosting.

can anyone give me some directions in how to set things right again.

I am quit a dummy at programming. I presume deleting the https://www.reishidrinks.be/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce folder will not solve the problem!

Any help will be much appreciated

    Kind regards,

    Wouter

Yes, renaming (or deleting) that folder should get you back into your site.

BTW, this thread is marked resolved – and is very long – so not a good place to post a new request.

If you still need additional help, I’d suggest you start a new thread:

debug is on, but no logs created !!!!

    Try this in wp_config.php :

    define('WP_DEBUG', true);
    define( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG', true ); // log to wp-content/debug.log
    define( 'WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false ); // don't force display_errors to on
    ini_set( 'display_errors', 0 ); // hide errors
