site info from site kit only visibale to one user

  • Hi,
    I built a website for my wife & connected the accounts when here user was logged in,
    When i’m logged in with my user i see the setup screen instead of the statistics screen.

    If both of us Administrators in the site, why i can’t see the statistics there?

  • @mp26 thanks for your inquiry! Each administrator user needs go through the setup process with their Google account to access Site Kit. Your Google account also needs to have administrative permissions to view data for the respective services (Search Console, Analytics, etc.). You can read more about this in our documentation. Once you’ve established those permissions you’ll be able to view data in Site Kit as the second administrator.

    But it makes no sense, i don’t want to connect 2 different accounts, i connect only one account and the other admin in the site just need to have permission to view the data.

    As you can imagine, data sharing must be approached carefully, but we certainly welcome more feedback/input on your use case that we should consider. Feel free to add to these existing requests or create a new feature request.
