Site Inaccessible HTTP 429

hi everyone im back with an issue.

ive had my blog hosted on a private site for months now. ive always used the wordpress app on my android phone to update my blog. ive never had a problem until 2 days ago. I tried posting my ice bucket challenge, told me it couldnt upload the video, tried a normal blog post, again could not upload it. delted the app, resintalled it and im still having the same issue.

i logged onto my blog on my laptop, went to my dashboard and it was asking me to connect my blog to wordpress.comusing jetpack. I thought i was already doing this but i gave it a shot. now i get an error message stating this:

Your website needs to be publicly accessible to use Jetpack: site_inaccessible

Error Details: The Jetpack server was unable to communicate with your site [HTTP 429]. Ask your web host if they allow connections from WordPress.com. If you need further assistance, contact Jetpack Support: https://jetpack.me/support/

I’ve contacted jetpack but had nothing back yet, ive also contacted my host and they have had a look themselves and need info about ports etc.
is there anything else i can try while im waiting to hear back?

i have made a sub domain and tried the plugin but it still says its inaccessible. any help would be appreciated.
