I created and saved the site icon, but it does not show up.

When it didn’t show up on my computer, I put it down to a caching problem.

But I’ve looked at the website on two other computers (in two different homes) and on an iPad in a third home and the site icon didn’t show up on any of them.

Yet it’s there under Appearance – Customize – Site Identity.

But it’s not showing up when looking at the website.

  • If your icon is a fat owl, I see it.

Hi maggieameanderings. When I load your site I see a blue square with a white pigtail (ok, I know that’s not what it is but it’s the only thing I could think of ?? in the browser tab. If that’s not the site icon, what is it supposed to be?

Maybe a white worm? Yes, I also see that.

Okay. Thank you very much for checking.

At least I know some people see it even though it’s not showing up in my house or my neighbors’ houses when I test viewed the site on their devices. So when I show the site to the friend I made it for, if he can’t see the site icon, at least I can now tell him that other people can.

(And it’s an “O” in the Cherry Swash font to match the “Omni Education” text in the banner.)
