Site Homepage description not working properly

My Site GeekyGadgetWorld is showing up some post excerpt as description. it only changes when i am posting any new article. i have seen the setting and it is already configured for the description for homepage. It was working fine a while before but recently it had shown some abrupt behaviour. And the excerpt changed in many different forms and finally resting to some post excerpt. i haev tried using all possible setting unsuccessfully. PLz help me out.
