    Hi,

In my sites Site Health I have received an error:

“The scheduled event, jetpack_sync_cron, failed to run. Your site still works, but this may indicate that scheduling posts or automated updates may not work as intended.”

I am running the latest WordPress and Jetpack, what could be causing this?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Ok, thank you for your quick reply, and the useful information.

I have opened a support ticket on the app.

Hi, running into another strange error and I thought it might be worth it to ask here.

We’re able to upload posts using the WordPress app again after talking with our hosts, they identified some issues with an external security provider.

However, I was trying to publish a new post, with no luck. So I decided to publish a test post just using some placeholder lorem ipsum text to test and this worked, which lead me to believe the error lies with the specific text I am trying to post.

This might sound a bit peculiar but the post is 1300 words long and we’ve narrowed it down to a single word that is causing the post to fail and that is:

    ‘Destination’

If I remove this word the post uploads fine with no errors whatsoever but If we try and upload a post containing this word from the WordPress app the upload instantly fails. If I change the world to ‘Destinatio’ the post uploads successfully.

Is there a reason why the word Destination would cause this behaviour?

Here is my application log, may be of some use: https://pastebin.com/Z6ztMYTQ

I have also forwarded to the app support.

    Thank you for your help.

I can’t think of any reason why that word would be causing any issues, unless there’s somehow an invisible character included in the word. I’m able to publish a post containing the word “Destination”, from the Android app to a Jetpack-connected site without any problems.

Did you type that post directly in the app, or did you paste it in from somewhere else? If you highlight and completely delete the word and re-type it, does that make any difference?

The people who might find that useful are the support team for the WordPress mobile apps, so please contact them directly via the mobile app support link as I described in my previous reply.

And I don’t know for sure, but those application logs might contain sensitive information regarding your device, and if you log into the app using a WordPress.com username, your WordPress.com account, so I wouldn’t recommend posting your application log somewhere public like this forum or a public Pastebin link. To be on the safe side, please delete that from Pastebin if possible – if you open a mobile support ticket directly from the app that will provide the application logs to the support team for those apps privately.
