    HI,
I got this error from the Site Health Screen saying that “A scheduled event has failed”.

    Message says:
“The scheduled event, jetpack_sync_cron, failed to run. Your site still works, but this may indicate that scheduling posts or automated updates may not work as intended.”

I’m not sure how to fix this. Could someone give me some advice?
    Thanks.

    Hi there,

Can you give us a link to your site? Then we can check if there’s an issue with the site’s Jetpack sync on our end.

Hi don’t see anything wrong on our end. It looks like a cron job on the site just failed to run.

I’ve initiated a manual sync just in case. You can also do this yourself as explained here:

    Hello,
I have run the manual sync but the error seems to still appear.

For some reason, when I sent the link to the website, The error seemed to appear as a Wordfence error. This has been resolved and appears NOW as a jetpack error.

Are you able to check on your side to see if there’s an error once again?

    Please keep me updated.
    Thanks.

Did the Wordfence error also mention Cron?

If so, this might be a problem with WP-Cron itself, rather than with a particular plugin.

In that case, please ask for advice in the general forums for how you can troubleshoot and fix that.

WP-Cron is what ensured scheduled events on your site happen when they’re supposed to happen. Plugins like Jetpack rely on that to ensure that certain processes, like Sync in Jetpack’s case, run when it should, but that’s a built-in feature of WordPress itself, and Jetpack doesn’t control how it works.

    Alright, I will do that.
    Thanks for your time.
