• Greetings,

Today I upgraded our WordPress website to v6.0.2, and for some reason the Site Health tool as disappeared? It’s not listed under Tools, Settings, or anywhere else in the admin dashboard. Has this tool been removed? Is this a plugin that one must install separately?

    Best Regards,
    Chris

  • Just checked my blog and Site Health is still listed in the Tools menu. The URL part for it is /wp-admin/site-health.php. Might see if the file still exists and if you can run it manually. Perhaps something is keeping it from showing in the menu?

So, the 6.0.2 update doesn’t seem to remove it, at least in my case.

I also updated my site to 6.0.2, and the Site Health is still listed.

That being said, your issue seems to be site-specific.

You may try Manually upgrading. When all else fails, download a fresh copy of the latest.zip file for this release (top right on this page) to your computer, and use that to copy up. You may need to delete the wp-admin and wp-includes folders on your server (NOTE: do not delete the wp-content directory or your wp-config.php file) Read the Manual Update directions first.

@markrh I manually pasted “/wp-admin/site-health.php” for the URL and I get a blank screen with just this at the top:

    Wordpress > Error
Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.

I have no idea why as I’m logged in to my site with highest admin priviledges.
