Site Health – Critical Issue (Active PHP session was detected)

The site health tool is reporting the following for TAuto Poster.

1 Critical issue
An active PHP session was detected.
A PHP session was created by a session_start() function call. This interferes with REST API and loopback requests. The session should be closed by session_write_close() before making any HTTP requests.

If you deactivate the plugin, the critical issue goes away. Also, TAuto interferes with the site’s loopback requests.

I’ve deactivated the plugin until a fix is reported.
