• I just created a site https://www.naijasmash.com and I wanted to have a version compatible with cellphones so I installed uppsite plug in. Now I can no longer access my admin dashboard or site, and when I try to access either I get: HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error): An unexpected condition was encountered while the server was attempting to fulfill the request.

I’m not sure if its only the plugin per se but since it was the last thing I did its the only thing I can see as causing the problem.

  • I would begin by using FTP or your hosts CPanel to access your file directories.

Browse to the wp-content/plugins/ directory… and see if you can spot the folder name of the plugin.

    Delete it.

Now, see if you can re-access your admin dashboard.

Thanks Josh, for your assistance in solving this issue.

Sochima, could you please remove our file from the FTP and try access your site again? If you still encounter any problem please let us know at [email protected]

A screen capture that shows the error you got would really help us as well.
I am looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks I just disabled all the plug ins and the site worked again.

Hi Uppsite I’m trying to have a mobile site but your plug in seems to not work with my site.
