Site has reverted to previous Joomla installation

  • Hi there, I took over a site recently which was on Joomla – I asked the admin to install wordpress and rebuilt the site on wordpress. Everything was hunky dory for a couple of months. Suddenly I go to the site and it’s back in it’s Joomla form when I look at the url HOWEVER when I go to sitename.org/wp-admin the site is still there in the back end in wordpress. Can anyone enlighten me to what has happened and what I need to do to get the front end displaying correctly?

    kirkleesenvironment.org I’m wondering if it’s something to do with the host, but it’s bizarre that the back is wp and the front is the old joomla site. F

    Arggg this got fixed apparently with a jetpack upgrade…. though why this should have fixed the problem I don’t know. But now it’s happening again.

    Front end is the old Joomla site and back end is still wordpress. Anyone? Thanks.
