Site hacked

Hello

So my site was hacked and my hosting told me it was due to not having the right passw protection.

I have a full backup made some weeks ago , when all was working

In Cpanel can i use a restore function ?
Is this a matter of just deleting everything and re uploading ?

Now strangely i cant access my cpanel (but i can enter my wordpress admin) get this msg when try to enter cpanel

This server is currently not licensed. Please contact the server administrator. Other services available on this server such as web services are likely functioning normally. (Cannot read license file)

Now im starting to get the feeling my hosting is completely incompetent.
Besides they take ages giving replies.

Can i do something in wordpress admin ? ( at least shut down the site
so people dont see is hacked ?
