• Here is a twist that all the searching hasn’t helped.

One of my sites is being marked as “suspicious – visiting this web site may harm your computer.” Alright… Well searching the problem tells me I need to search all the files for nasty inserted code. I can’t access the Dashboard:

The requested URL /wp-admin/ was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request

Has anyone had this double-whammy problem?

    What should I do?

If you own the hosting then ask hosting authority. Also change your hosting control panel login details.

nah u just need to replace .htaccess file, i mean default. Now your htacces file is corrupted because of virus, trojan. Also clean your pc first.

What is the best way of going about that?

    Here is a neat thing:

Not only is there now two other files with mydomain.com that have today’s dates on them, but what appears to be the original file is now called mydomain.com.new.

My host is unable to help. I just want to clear this up as I am transferring the site to another person. What a nightmare!

As you can tell from the dates on this thread I have been avoiding this like the plague.

I have a similar issue – put an add at wordpress jobs to see if anyone can handle it for me…
