Hi, I have localy developed ecommerce page in DevKinsta. Its Kadence theme with woocommerce installed and few times updated. After last update(to be clear, when I click the “start automatic update” it will start, do the ring loading thing for some time and show the error in Plugins Woocommerce section), I get this error in plugins interface and then the site goes to maintenance mode. Did use Updraft to do the recoverz of page, but after next try to update, its all the same again. All other plugins are updated without problems.

ERROR message I see in plugins interface:
Aktualizace se nezda?ila: 504 Gateway Time-out 504 Gateway Time-out nginx <!– a padding to disable MSIE and Chrome friendly error page –> <!– a padding to disable MSIE and Chrome friendly error page –> <!– a padding to disable MSIE and Chrome friendly error page –> <!– a padding to disable MSIE and Chrome friendly error page –> <!– a padding to disable MSIE and Chrome friendly error page –> <!– a padding to disable MSIE and Chrome friendly error page –>

The long error message is when trying th update in Brave browser. When I am trying in Firefox, I’ve got only:
    Aktualizace se nezda?ila: 504 Gateway Time-out 504 Gateway Time-out nginx

    Tried the wp-sweep, didnt help.

    Hello,

Can you switch to a default theme (e.g. Storefront), turn off all plugins except WooCommerce, and try updating to see if that resolves the issue? If the issue persists, you can follow the steps from the guide below to to fix the issue:

Did all you said, didnt help. Everything is working, just woocommerce is not possible to update or delete and install again. Was working on the site around month. Was very happy with result. Did update every time there was new version of all plugins, have backups and still it seems will have to start from scratch. Very disappointing ??

Seems like I possible fixed it by re-install of WordPress. Now I see the woocommerce I have in plugins is version 5.5.1, which should be the most current version if I am correct.

    Hi @ttyser ??

Thank you for letting us know that you could fix it by reinstalling WordPress. So, as it is solved now, we can conclude that it was the WordPress core that was causing the issue.

Now I see the woocommerce I have in plugins is version 5.5.1, which should be the most current version if I am correct.

Yep, that’s the most current WooCommerce version.

Great! I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can send us a new reply.

    Cheers!
