• I am using wordfence on one of my websites (shared hosting) and I am very satisfied.
I installed wordfence on my second website(shared hosting), since then my site keeps going down. I verified this by deactivating the plugin and the downtime messages from jetpack stopped. reactivating it caused the ‘website down’ messages to reappear.
Im using basic configurations without live traffic logging.
Is there a way to troubleshoot this? I really want to go back using this plugin.

  • Out of curiosity, are you able to access the site in a browser when jetpack says it is down? I want to eliminate the possibility of an accidental block.

several times i managed to catch the alert on time to check if the site was available and it wasn’t.
I am aware that jetpack send false alerts and I did manage to catch these as well but rarely.

In my site I have to remove Wordfence to go online… And now I’m waiting another upgrade or something to resolve this problem and continnue using this essential plugin

Version 6.0.3 is out. Please update and reply back as to your status.
