Just upgraded https://granolagourmet.com/ this site which has a static homepage and once there you’re either off to WordPress or a store built on ZenCart. So the store is OK, but the WordPress install is not. Every page, post, wp-admin, everything went blank, white. Obviously, first thing I did was rename the plugin folder but that changed nothing. So what else can I do beyond go backwards from a backup? I’m on PHP 5.2.17.

  • Try:
    – switching to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

resetting the plugins folder by phpMyAdmin (yes – sometimes that is necessary).

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

Well, so far I tried the first two methods but to no avail. I’m now reupping WP 3.5 from a fresh install save for upping the wp-content folder. Let’s see what happens.

OK, third time the charm. Uploading a fresh install worked. Thx.
