Site formatting is a mess

    I am a new blogger and new to WordPress.
    I had finally gotten my site set up like I wanted it with a few posts and about a week ago it started taking almost a minute to bring it up online. All I would get when I attempted to bring it up online was a white screen with “waiting for grits and pinecones” at the bottom. This happened with multiple devices.
    I tried emptying my cache and that didn’t seem to help the speed at all and now, the formatting on my site is all messed up and it looks awful . My logo at the top is crazy, the word “featured” has been added to all of my post titles and there are all sorts of weird characters showing up.
    I am running the most recent versions of WordPress, my theme which is Zephyr, and all of my plugins have been updated.

    I just took a look at your site and it looks like fine for me, Took a little while to load, but formatting all looks fine. Hope you were able to figure out the problem, sorry I wasn’t able to provide any support earlier.
