I have been using the Product Feed Pro plugin for a year now, with no issues. I received an email today from Google Merchant Center encouraging me to “complete setup for your feed” and logged in to see that there were no products in my feed as of June 23rd. I first assumed it was a Google issue (it usually is) but then discovered that the .xml map being generated from Product Feed Pro is empty.

I found your support article about what to check and made sure that all the settings are correct (also, I haven’t changed anything in the settings since last year, so I’m confident its not related to that). I tried clearing the cache, and that didn’t work. I disabled all plugins except for Woocommerce and the Feed plugin and regenerated the map, but the map is still empty of products. There’s obviously a conflict somewhere, but I’m at a loss where/how to find it. Can you help?

I checked my Woocommerce error log, and found these errors from today while I was troubleshooting:

    Hi,

According to the above notifications you are on our Elite version.

Unfortunately, per the WordPress forum guidelines, we’re not allowed to discuss our paid Elite plugin here so for any questions about our paid plugins, please contact our support team directly.

Assuming the issue has been resolved and our help is no longer required we will close this topic for housekeeping reasons now.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to us again whenever you need our support.

We’re having the same error log; however, our problem is we only have ~160 products populating in our feed, where we usually have ~20K products overall in WooCommerce

@classicimportusa When they took a close look at my feed settings, they found a filter that was blank that was causing the products to disappear. I’m still not sure how it happened, but the issue was definitely on my end.

I recommend you follow their advice in this tutorial and see if you can narrow down what is causing the issue: https://adtribes.io/help-i-have-none-or-less-products-in-my-product-feed-than-expected/

@rebeccaolson Thanks for the heads up! The link you posted currently has a 404 error for some reason.

@classicimportusa Strange – It looks like everything except the home page of their site is down. I imagine they’re working on it – it should (hopefully) pop back up soon. From what they’ve said, 99% of the time the issue is with the filters/rules. So in the meantime, go your “feed filters and rules” and look at each one, and make sure there isn’t a field that is blank or wrong. If you still can’t find it, create a new feed with no filters (no need to delete the old one). If that new feed shows all your products, then you know it’s with the filters/rules. Then add your current filters/rules one by one and check each time to see which one is causing it.

@rebeccaolson Yeah, that makes sense as to why they didn’t respond back via email too. I’ll try what you suggested and see how that works, thanks so much!
