Site failing to show all content in Internet Explorer

  • Hello,

    I just checked my blog and In Internet explorer and for some reason nothing apart from the logo and menu bar is displaying. However Firefox is fine (as youd expect ;-)). I have a feeling the upgrade I have applied for wordpress has caused this issue, does anyone know how I can get it to view in Internet Explorer.

  • It looks like you have c & p’ed posts (at least the 1st one) from Office or Word – a big no no for WP. Just edit the posts and strip all the extranneous stuff from them or c & p them into Notepad and then back into the editor.
    Should be good to go.

    BTW, turn off the wysiwyg editor.

    Yes I did notice these tags had suddenly appeared, I simply removed them and all was back. Yes I think better control will be achieved without the wysiwyg, although I usually use the html editor inside wordpress, I will certainly turn it off now for more precision.
