I deactivated the plugin and tried to reactivate it, but then I got this message:

I cannot visit my wp-admin page and can only access my WordPress dashboard through the revovery mode link provided in the email I got from WordPress. Also, I can now go to my actual homepage by entering the url directly, and all other pages work except my /shop page. It just redirects you to my homepage. Please help. I do not know what to do, but I think the most recent WooCommerce plugin update may have caused this, and maybe reverting back to the previous version could temporarily fix the issue. Thanks.

    Hi,

Typically, the fatal errors that appear after updating a plugin are often sign of a conflict. A possibility is that one plugin installed on the site that wasn’t compatible with the latest version of WooCommerce, forcing the site to crash.

To bring your site back up, you’ll want to log in via FTP, and disable all plugins. You can do that by navigating to the plugins folder and renaming it to something like deactivated-plugins. This will make the plugins disabled, and you will be able to log in to your site. At this point, you can change back the name of the folder to just plugins – please note, this will not automatically enable all your plugins.

On the wp-admin dashboard, be sure to re-activate WooCommerce only and then start re-activating the rest of your plugins one by one (And checking again after each reactivation), until you find the one that causes the fatal error to appear.

    I hope this helps.

    Hi @stephenhammonds ,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if you need any further help with this.

    Cheers!
